National American Indian Court Judges Association NAICJA Newsletter
After the final NAICJA News newsletter publication in 2000, the Tribal Justice Today newsletter, published by the National Tribal Justice Resource Center, now runs a special publication called the NAICJA corner. The Tribal Justice Today newsletter is published four times per year and is posted and archived here for future reading. We hope to share the following information, among other topics, with tribal justice systems, tribes, Native villages and the general public:
- Resources and services available through the Resource Center
- Information on tribal justice system funding opportunities
- A national calendar of tribal justice-related training events & conferences
- An update on federal legislation impacting tribal justice systems
- A review of the technical assistance provided by the Resource Center to particular tribal courts
- Highlights of promising tribal justice system developments and promising practices
- Other news of interest concerning tribal justice system activities
- Provider Profiles
You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to read the newsletter. (If you don’t already have Adobe's Acrobat Reader, you can download it for free. Just click on the Acrobat Reader graphic below.) These files are very large and will have slow downloads. Please be patient, it is worth the wait!
